Alex comes to us from York, Pennsylvania. She originally attended Temple University for linguistics, French, and Arabic. Despite her love of language and international policy, she realized she would be happier with a more creative career. After living in Philadelphia and Chicago, she moved to York and enrolled in cosmetology school. Alex fell in love with doing hair; unfortunately, the beauty industry is one that generally produces a large amount of waste. This struck a nerve, so she began working with Davines behind the chair and quickly discovered her love for the sustainable beauty brand. She dove head first into education and eventually became a salon ambassador for the company, attending quarterly classes and bringing this knowledge back to her home salon. She joined the Etta team because of her passion for Davines and creating beautiful hair in a thoughtful, responsible manner. Her heart lies in color and styling, though she regularly attends classes to stay up-to-date in all aspects of hairdressing. She studied and perfected the French style of haircutting, which follows the shape of your head to create a one-of-a-kind cut. She also specializes in balayage, which allows her to freely paint on color in a natural, flattering way. You will always have a completely customized look with Alex as your stylist.
